Having a deep affection for the land and people of Alentejo in Southern Portugal for many years, a private family wished to turn a passion for premium wine and an understanding and respect for land cultivation into something tangible and meaningful.
They wanted to create a new wine brand experience, including a winery, from scratch.
Patience, resilience and belief have characterised the journey to date, and the first bottles – a red and white Colheita - are now finally available.

Paying homage to the region, unique taste, craftmanship and our client’s five-generation family commitment to land and community, we worked closely with wine and spirit brand design associate Studio Parr, and devised the premium brand strategy, luxury wine brand name and brand messaging.
Studio Parr created the wine brand logo, visual identity, website design, wine labels, packaging and merchandising material.
The brand story for this new premium wine’s launch is about change and terroir – movement and stability. Putting roots down in new places, sensing new destinies in the air. From a family history spanning the world from the 1700’s onwards. We gave the wine the new brand name PIRR: an ancient word for ‘gentle breeze’.
2025 Winner of the Portuguese GRANDE OURO for the single best white wine of the Alentejo region in all categories.
